IE favorites icon for CNET

by pjb1124 / January 5, 2005 8:56 AM PST

after reading TopGun!'s thread about losing icons in the IE favorites list, i noticed that in my own favorites, the CNET homepage link that i added didn't have a icon at all. not even the non descript blue "E" icon.

has anyone here who has cnet in their favorites noticed this?

just wondering

I hadn't before but

I just checked and you're right. I have 4 different CNET forum pages on my favorites and they are the ONLY ones out of all 229 favorites that have no icon. I have no idea why, maybe somebody else knows. LOL

although not with Cnet's icon. I found that a defrag oddly enough, restored the icons in the Favorites column.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
