IE BROWSER WILL NOT KEEP MY SETTINGS IN THE TOP TOOLBAR

My computer wokrs awesomely well. HP a340n 120 GIGS., good stuff in it.
what I am curious about is why when I close my IE Browser THEN OEPN AGAIN, THE TOPP tool bar, defaults to it's own accord, rather than keeping the settings that I place in it, and then "Lock Toolbars",
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

I had that happen

I have a 450n, as I recall it sounds the same. After a lot of research I found a download from HP that cured the problem. I still have the file. Check out Auto TKit update SP24040.exe. If it's not the correct one it should get you in the ball park. BTW it was a pain, like yours it kept changing even after a tool bar lock
