Normally I would suggest running IEFix, but it hasn't been updated to support IE7 yet. Uninstalling IE should revert it back to IE6, and if not that can be worked around. Then if the problem still remains you can run IEFix to resolve it, then decide if you want to upgrade to IE7 again.

i did a clean install, on my friends computer.everything went smooth as silk. then i downloaded all the up dates, from MS website and IE7 came with it.but now, whenever i click on a link on his homepage or anything on his homepage an error pops up and wants to send the info to microsoft and this even happens, when i try to type in a web address. does anyone know why this keeps happening. the only thing i know to do is to uninstall IE7 and hope it goes back to IE6 or do another clean install...any help on this, would be great......thanks
