A message in the Browser forum concerning the utility"IEradicator" which may be able to use.
I am trying to *fix* a friend's IBM laptop running Win 98... IE 6 crashes when it is run, citing IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL... via the control panel, uninstall is not a choice, so I tried an uninstaller progam and apparently had the program removed. However, when I go to reinstall another version of IE, it says a newer version exists on the PC, even though when I search for iexplore.exe, nothing is found. Also, when I try to reinstall IE 6, I am told that version already exists on the system. Even more puzzling is that I cannot delete the IE icon on the desktop... can anyone help?
