IE 6 popups drive me crazy

Jul 1, 2005 8:02AM PDT

I am using Firefox and enjoy the stability but every now and then I have to use my IE to gain access to a site.

Whenever I do I get 2 window popups immediately. I use ad-aware, spybot, registry mechanic, trendmicro, google anti pop up on my system.

No matter how much I run them or how clean my system is these pop up persist.

I don't want to put another pop-up stopper on there. I want to know what the problem is. Is there something hidden somewhere that keeps these things popping up?

I have winxp pro svc pk 1.
Thanks

"(NT) And, "specifically" they are named . . ."

Is this a reply to my message? Because if it is I am not sure what it means.

Frankly, I've never seen an IE window that did not have a topic of some sort in the top colored border. Perhaps if you'd include that information, somebody may know the answer.
