IE 6.0 Script Error

Running IE 6.0 SP2 which came with Win XP SP2. I've been receiving an ''IE Scripts Error'' message when I try to use a program which used to operate correctly. Here's what the actual message says:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 142
Char: 21
Error: Access Denied
Code: 0
URL: file://C:\Program Files\Canon\Easy-WebPrint\Print Template.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

(No matter which answer to the above question I choose nothing happens)

I found something similar to your situation.

Try this,Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools>Internet Options>click Delete Files. rerboot

Canon Easy-Web Print error message in IE scripting

In reply to: Internet Explorer Script Error re: Canon Easy-WebPrint

I have had exactly the same message. You need to download and install version 2.6.3 of Canon Easy-WebPrint. Go to http://www.canoneasywebprint.com/en/index.htm
and follow the instructions in red.

The new version fixes it.

Good luck!
