Resolved Question

Nov 5, 2013 4:56PM PST

Dear Experts

Although I am not a fan on using internet explorer.

My laptop has IE 10 installed ,,,,I am using this laptop for my work and there are some website work related should be run in IE8 or compatibility mode.

Every day when I use those websites (work related) I have to use F12 --> Browser mode : IE8, or Tools --> Compatibility view settings

How can I make either one of these changes to stay permanently ? or Can do I need to install IE8.

Regards

You can't install IE8 unless it was originally on the PC and you updated yourself from IE8 to IE10 directly (skipping IE9).
Compatibility settings should stay after boot. It's strange that they don't. If it's a work PC, let the helpdesk solve it.
Do these sites work correctly in Firefox or Chrome? Then use those.
