General discussion

identify an mp3/mp4 player

Aug 2, 2007 11:56PM PDT

Hello,
I have been given an MP3/MP4 player and im trying to identify it so i can find a usb connector for it. It is not a standard USB port. The only imformation i can get from it is below, it seems to be unbranded.

Screen #: CM50011ACT6-01AL/64-00245
Board #: SAMSUNG 619 K9***08U0A PCB0

That is the only imformation i can get from inside it because one of the screws is stuck.
A few pictures:

They are also well know to have "fake" memory. That is labeled as 4GB and you find you can fit 2 songs on it. The EBAY seller tells you to format it and all heck breaks loose.

We have a sticky about that in this forum.

The connection is (so far) the standard MINI USB you see at http://www.mobiledia.com/reviews/motorola/razr-v3/images/mini-usb.jpg

Thanks for that, it doenst say what size it is on the case, which probably means it will be tiny!

The connection isnt a MiniUsb i hav a miniusb lead for my phone and its not that, im struggling to get a good picture of it. I think its just something they made with an adapter and it was a one off, not much chance?
