trojan/malware hunting scans before anything! .Scr is a very infamous source/ carrier of these problems (not usually seen as copies of MS ones but bright ideas abound where profit involved).
Could they be UPDATED Versions designed to deal with security changes around IE & Vista etc. which may have affected performance of older scripted ones?? Just a W.A.G. ![]()
While searching for a screensaver (XP Home) I noticed that I now have four of the same kind of stock Microsoft savers. I'm guessing that the one in the System32 folder is the original and the other three came in with updates and can be deleted.
Any info or advice on this?
