a suction cup. not on the actual lens, but around it, if the camera is totally flat in that area and will accept suction cup.
a camera 'uv filter' male and female threaded. one superglued around the lens and the other screws on and off.
I don't understand how manufacturers are making $200 mini camcorders with all these great specs like full HD, 12MP, optical zoom, image stabilizer, and waterproof and omitting a lens cap to protect the lens from scratching in a pocket/purse. Is there some type of universal lens cap I could superglue on that's quick and easy to remove on these mini cigarette-pack-sized camcorders? I used a wide rubberband for a while and maybe a pastic disk with velcrow superglued around its perimiter and the perimiter of the lens on the cam but velcrow has the tendency to make dust of itself and harm the lens.
