ICQ and other IM programs are slightly dangerous if you download or allow anyone to send you items. Even a picture can be an iffy proposal. I suggest only one IM program for the PC since it's open source and well beat up for the security angles. Of course one can always override that, accept a download and let a pest in. Here it is ->

Best of luck finding your pests and it could be something simple like a broken keyboard.

its an old toshiba laptop w98,this has happened a few times,gonna fix it with my 28oz estwing hammer,then go shopping for new computer,preety scary using dsl with 233 processor and only 96 ram,time to get out of the dark ages,any suggestions,e-machines,for a starter?,just retired want ,to really get into this now,notquite ready for a falcon but that velocity micro seems coolio....dont wanta be outdated next year, got two g's and 2kds monitors?????????next door neighbor is supergeek,gotta upstage him so hell come over and teach some more in between checking out my cool new system!!!!!!!!

I'll wait for the dual-core Athlon 64. I have my reasons and some past ownership of dual CPU machines that outperformed what any pundit every dis'd out about dual CPU machines. I've also tried more than a few 64-bit machines including SUN Microsystems and again the pundits are dis'ing such as much as they can.
