Nov 22, 2004 4:24AM PST

OK I messed up. Somehow I moved the little toolbar at the bottom of my screen. It is big now & on the right side of my screen, You can't see it when I login. I used those tools alot. How can I get it back? Would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank You, Donna This isn't the tool bar that is on the top part of the screen. PS I never know what time it is now , clock gone also.

Dlilscallop,

Whenever posting questions on these forum, please give us as much information about the computer as possible. The operating system and any other information is helpful. The more information you give us, then better informed our answer will be.

Try "dragging" it back to where it's supposed to be. Move your mouse to a blank area of the "taskbar" which is now on the right side of the screen. While holding DOWN the left mouse button, "drag" the taskbar down to the bottom. It should relocated itself along the bottom.

You mentioned that you can't see it at log in. Have you accidently made it "auto hide"? If so, after it's moved to the bottom, and depending on the operating system, RIGHT click on a blank area of the taskbar, then UNCHECK "Autohide". (If you're using Windows XP, RIGHT click on the taskbar, choose "Properties", then UNCHECK "Autohide".)

Hope this helps.

After doing as Grif suggested, you might want to right-click an empty area of the Taskbar and check "Lock the Taskbar", so it cannot accidentally be moved.
