General discussion


After giving my password to get on computor i get a bunch of icons like games and other items.
In my control panel i also have them listed recently installed page.

What i want to do is remove it.

The only thing is this icon is there when i turn on computor, but its not listed in my recently installed page so i cant remove it

Can you help?

Not sure if I understood your post correctly, but those icons on the Desktop are just shortcuts to software that has been installed on your computer.

Do you want to remove just the icons, or do you want to uninstall the software that they are shortcuts for?

If you want to remove the icons, just drag them to your Recycle Bin.

If you want to uninstall the software, goto the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall the software from there. That should also remove the Desktop icons, but if not, just drag them to the Recycle Bin.

Found out that this game was written a different way in the recently installed programs.

So, i was able to remove it, and take of the problem.

It may be a malware popup or such and knowing what it says would sure help.

If It's Just A Game, Then Uninstall It

Open the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs section, find the game listed there, and click on the "Remove" button.
