Question

ICMP Problems

Dec 26, 2016 7:23PM PST

I need to configure my router to respond to ICMP echo requests on its WAN port from various different servers... my router is freaking out and blocking incoming connections from innocent game servers and its making it difficult (read: impossible) to connect. How exactly do I do this?

While I've done this for years and even written router code long ago I'd have to know what I'm working on.

That model can vary with each ISP. Bug them about it.
