Mine will pause and start where I left off. Be sure to ask the vendor of the product about this feature since some don't have a resume but will pause.
As to Windows, that's very odd. It's a MP3 player and may just show up as a drive letter that you copy your MP3 file to. As such, the player would not be limited to just windows.
There are some audio content that must use Windows Media Player in order to COPY PROTECT the content. I can write with some authority that less than 10 percent of the MP3 players will work with Windows Media Player.

Costco has a great price on the iClick ($99). I want an mp3 player strictly for listening to audiobooks. I belong to several libraries with a great selection of audiobooks to download but it must be Windows based. I have never used a mp3 and I know that I need a resume feature anything else? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
