iCalendar events drop off then reload with CalDav sync

I am running OSXServer on a Maverick OS. I recently connected my iPhone through server CalDav to iCalendar (after some connection issues).

The problem is iCal seems to be alternating between the iPhone calendar listings and its own, not one main listing.

When I first synced the phone I saw all my phones entries and my original iCal entries. Suddenly ALL the iCal and synced iPhone entries disappeared and I had blank calendar. After some analysis I created some test event in this blank calendar. At the next scheduled sync these events disappeared and ALL the original events returned.

Now iCal toggles between the blank screen with some test events and the full screen with all my iPhone and original calendar events.

Does anyone know what's occurring and either how to fix or where I should look to figure it out on my own?
