Hi guys! I just woke up this morning and .. disasters!! my screen began to show PINK stains all around, basically all the spaces that are supposed to be white are now pink!! , browser background and everything that is supposed to be white is pink!!!

help!!! yesterday it was kinda ok, i noticed that suddenly in one browser page it showed me all the white text in red but.. after that it went back to normal, then i inserted a CD, played a game, shut it down, I turned on this morning .. and the pink problem appeared!!
also the screen looks sometimes like it has interferences like..hmm an old tv >.< I will appreciate any advice and help D: and orientation will be cool, thank you so much .

Pink is a sign of aging CCFLs.

During the reinstall you watch for the offer to ARCHIVE.

Not the screen aging but the CCFLs. I take it you didn't read any of the supplied PDFs?

It's a HARDWARE issue.

Which applies to all CCFL tubes as they age. The really great news is these tubes don't cost much. I wish I could write the same about the labor and skill to put in new ones.
