I got a non-working IBM Thinkpad laptop from a friend. my mom brought it to one of IBMs many locations in this country, one of which is located here in New York and asked them if it was worth fixing, hey said no, but i have an idea- i think IBM\Lenovo thinkpads are all the same size, so, can I order a motherboard from a newer version of the thinkpad laptop? and how much would it be to have someone upgrade it if it can be upgraded?
