I was selecting between those very two as well over the last few weeks.

First off, one thing to note is there is a Zen Nano and a Zen Nano Plus. The Plus is the same as the Nano except it adds a FM Tuner. Note in my price researching I often saw the Nano Plus at the same or lower rpice as the Nano, so if you DO go with the Creative Zen Nano look closely to make sure you get the plus. Circuit City is one place that had the Plus sometimes lower than the normal.

But onto your previous question. While I have not used either, after reading many posts and reviews I was convinced they both seemed like great players, with the iU2 having a slight preference advantage.

For me then, it was going to come down to price. Last weel Amazon had the iAudio U2 for $129.99 + free shipping - a great deal. And had some available. NOW 9at least today) it is not in stock and is back up tp $149.99. Meanwhile, CC has the Plus on sale for $104.99 this week. SO I went and got the Plus since it was available and $45 less.

One note, one you did not mention was the Sandisk Sansa. One I also was not interested in originally. BUT please note once I found out the Zen Plus does not play subscription music (not downloads, but the monthly "music to go" subscription (one main thing I wanted) I then switched gears and also bought the Sandisk Sansa. You CAN NOT feed a line in for recording with the Sandisk, but the Zen Nano and iAudio U2 does not I bleieve support subsctriptions sites. I got a Sandisk 2 GB for $129.9 at CC and they are offering $80 rebate with 6 months of Rhapsody sign up (so kind of getting Rhapsody for free for 6 months)

I have both now, have not opened either one, but think I will end up sticking with the Sandisk 2gb. I wil honetly say I think the sandisk is not quite as 'attractive' as the ones you were looking for, and if I was not doing the subscription thing then would of gone with the zen due to price.
