i7 + dual nvidia 280m gtx

by fraushai / November 28, 2009 11:53 PM PST

is there any gaming laptop manufacturer that offers the above configuration: i7 processors AND dual nvidia 280m gtx run in SLI mode? preferably the screen should be bigger than 17'

from my knowledge none of the major manufacturers seem to do that, like alienware and sager. why?

I can state with certainty that this laptop is being made. I just had an opportunty to test one of them out. It has an i7 processor and had only one 280m gtx graphics card but a second is available I believe. This laptop had a 16 X 9 LED display which was unbelievable looking. You can get dual drives in it as well. I am into HD video editing and was looking at the gaming laptops for my needs. This laptop with solid state drives would blow anything that Alienware has to offer. I will be getting one fully loaded with the solid state drives for my needs very soon. These are available right now.

Oh really? I think a 16x9 screen is pretty neat, not too large, nor small in any way. Awesome. Could you tell the name of the company or the laptop or something?
Thanks.
