Question

i5-7400 or Ryzen 3 1200?

Sep 27, 2017 6:00AM PDT

I am planning a super-budget PC build for multi-core performance in software like after Effects, Blender, Toon Boom, etc. I am confused which config to use- AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with GT 1030(can't afford anything more!) OR i5-7400 without any GPU. Gaming will be very rare. Will throw 8 gigs in both. Please help!

The I5 gives you more cpu muscle.
The gt 1030 gives you more gpu muscle.

Now you need to research the reqs for each prog you want to use.
