Resolved Question

i3 w/ 8GB ram vs. i5 w/ 4GB ram?

Jul 19, 2014 5:07AM PDT

Can anyone help and tell me which of the above is 'better'?

I realise that it isn't clear cut, so I'd appreciate if you could say which would perform certain tasks better. Both are 4th gen.

Thanks for any help (I'm new to laptops so I kinda need it!)

Why? I rarely see folk change up a CPU. RAM? Many do that.

Ah, much appreciated. So go for the i5, and upgrade ram if needed. Thanks a lot!
