Try this to find eactly what you need for ram... and use the configurator (at the bottom on the left nav bar) and follow the prompts. It will tell you every system's max amount, type, speed and wht it comes with... including the base systems specs. Know the make and model number of your system. then go to the store and say the type and speed... no need to say brand. Then make a cost comparison of the options and that should do it.

You may find something for less there. The other option is looking online at various places.
