You need to get at least Mint version 13 which is the current LTS version. Julia is no longer supported.
What that means in linuxspeak is no more updates from repositories, as they become suppositories, LOL.
I am trying to set up a computer to use with Linux Mint strictly for finances.
I have the program installed, but I'm having a difficult time programming some of the various internal programs. I want to install Libre for the office program and there is supposed to be another program for financials that I can download and install.
The computer is a P-IV, 2.33, 2GHD, three GRam. Ihave installed Linux on one partition, the other one holds window7. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Incidentally, some of the changes I'm making on both computers are due to the proliferation of NSA.
