Clarification Request
What OS?

If Windows 7, it's no longer called add/remove but "Programs and Features". It's fairly straightforward. Did you also check under Start/Programs to see if uninstall shortcuts are provided for the various programs themselves? As for AV software, is it Norton? You can get free removal tools from Symantec's web site for that purpose.

And right under that

And right under that icon, in the default view for both Vista and Windows 7 if memory serves, is a link that says "Remove a program". So one can only assume that to miss this, a person wasn't looking very hard and/or gave up at the first instant it appeared as if any kind of additional effort would be required.

Hi hlubibc,

1. Click on the Start Button
2. Select Control Panel
3. Click on "Programs and Features"
4. Then select the program(s) you want to remove, and finally click on "Uninstall"
