I want to buy a netbook, please help

Oct 27, 2009 3:25AM PDT

I need been shopping for a netbook. I have narrowed it down to these 3, but cannot make up my mind...

HP Mini 110-1125NR
Asus Eee PC 1005HAB netbook
Acer ASpire one AOD250-1151.

I would like it to have media player to see video clips.
I am not a gamer and battery life is not important as I will have it pluged in most of the time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This probably won't help

It appears that all three of your choices use the same video chipset. None will probably have a video quality advantage over the other. All will play some video material but there will be hiccups and hesitations with some. If high quality video is important to you, netbooks are not the way to go yet.

If you want to play HD video, you don't really want a netbook. For regular quality stuff, you should be fine.

As for the netbooks themselves, it looks like these are exactly identical except for the price. They have the same screen, processor, memory, keyboard, etc. The Acer is cheapest on Newegg.com by nearly $100. I'd just get the one I thought looked coolest!

Really though, all netbooks are pretty limited, so I'd buy an iPod touch instead, but whatever...

ASUS' K-series are good.

Also Dell Vostro 1520, and Dell Studio 15.
