Or maybe someone can create this (seemingly simple) app for me???
I have no idea if there is an app around that can already do what I want. I have Rhapsody music, and sometimes, certain tracks of an albums will not download. I do not use Rhapsody as my music player, so I usually clear our my library after downloading music (It makes the program load faster).
So I want an application that will scan my music folders (each album is in its own folder), and count the number of tracks in each folder, and also scan the track numbers of each track. After taking the largest of the track numbers, it could then compare those two numbers (largest track #, and actual number of tracks in the folder), it could tell me which folders have any sort of discrepancy.
Seems like it wouldnt be TOO impossible for programming, but I have no idea how to make something like this. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
