I use win98se, Im having trojan problems,

by ConflictedRealitys / October 9, 2004 7:02 AM PDT

I knew i had trojans on my computer, but because it was so glitchy i couldnt get through a full virus scan, I was just going to wait till i get my win98se install disks from my dad in ontario, he has to mail them to me. But since then someone got my ip address and starting taking control of my computer. He seems to have made the extension "exe" in general, not work. The only reason i can get into IE is because i fluked on the idea of loading a link to a site. And it worked, But otherwise i cant load programs directly.

Conflicted,

It could be spyware, or viruses...let's start with viruses...

Please try running the free online virus scans from the links below. Delete all infected files found:

Housecall Online Scanner

Panda Online Scanner

If you can download the following files to your desktop and install them, please install, then update, then run the free spyware removal tools below:

Ad-Aware

After you download and Run the virus scans and clean up programs, verify that your system is clean, then install a good firewall and antivirus program with current updates. You should Not have any problems after that. Keep the programs guarding your system updated as well as staying current with Windows Security Updates. It's worth it in the long run. You'll see. Good luck.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
