I uninstalled my network and now it's not reinstalling.

Recently, my network adapter stopped working and when I saw it in the device manager, it had an error next to it. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but now it is not being detected by my computer for reinstallation. I DID notice that the packet scheduler miniport for the network adapter was recognized however. Any help would be appreciated.

Try physically removing the adapter...

from the machine, and reboot. Close down reinsert the adapter and see if Windows picks it up. Elsewise a new adapter is called for.
