I tunes has some explaining to do

Why did itunes erase everything i had. I didnt want to update itunes and it woulndt let me access anything untill i updated. So i said F!!
I lost all songs (1600) all apps, and all scores and links.
I cant believe this program still excist. Someone please shut them down. ITUNES QUIT EXISTING!!! horrible program that can never be good at anything!!

I assume your songs, your apps, your scores and your links (all your stuff) is stilll on your backup. Not having a backup means you don't mind to lose it. So why complain if you don't mind?

Another tip: if you feel that updating a program can damage your data (I've never seen such), use a separate account for updating the program. Then you're sure that your data in your normal account isn't touched at all. Which would allow you to system restore the program back to what it was with all original data.

The same thing could happen in any collection manager. Are you writing that such apps should never exist?
