i think that i got a spyware.

i have a certain site for my home page when i use the internet explorer.

however, everytime when i open the explorer, i get directed to this site, and it tells me that download anti spyware software.

so what is going on here? thanks.

Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spyware programs loaded? I looked at the page you referenced. It is an ad for anti-spyware. Check out www.infostar.com. Leave
Peter a couple of bucks for the website, go to the viruses info page and pick out some FREE anti-virus and anti-spyware programs to add to your PC. Then change the
homepage back to what you want it to be. It SHOULD stay away!

that site actually hijacked my homepage. i can't even open the original home page.

it is related to spyaxe site. i installed adware and microsoft's anti spyware, none of them worked.

so i searched online for spyaxe, and found a good program. and ran that program. it cleaned that hijacker easily.

now i am free of that junk.
