The best modular phone that we have on the market now. I also saw the review in http://www.cnet.com/products/lg-g5/ and am impressed.
What do you say ?

Note: link from OP went to forums by accident. Moderator has corrected it to go the review of the phone.

Only if they did a better job...

The last 2 LG flagships had major flaws in hardware. I wouldn't take the G4 or V10 for free. Beautiful phones, but that's cosmetic.
My response is wait 6 months to see if it's a novel idea with poor execution or a functional innovation.

Modular Phones. Maybe Later.

It's not that I don't like the G5 but the whole idea is a little bit flawed. There is more time required to see if the modular phone idea is good. Sure LG made the biggest advancement on the field and launched a good product but IMHO it can't compete with the leaders (Samsung and Apple). As an evidence, I will mention the cancellation of the Ara project and shifting the focus on Pixel by Google. And it is Google and they are pretty serious and did their homework on the task. Until then like a supporter of the idea of modularity I would stick with just a modular case. It's the best solution for now, since I have the best phone and just add modular capabilities via extending modules on the case. These products are sold by brands like Otterbox, Nexpaq, I-blades etc.
I can't wait and see modular flagship phone. Until then nice work LG. They surely catalyzed the process Happy
