I think I deleted my C drive on my dell.

what a mess. I cannot get music or a cd to work. I keep getting an error code 19 saying something in the regestery is wrong. Have my CD's that came with my dell, but once inserted nothing happens. The drive does not work.Can anyone point me in the right direction. its no longer under warrenty.

hmm, you could try a repair install

just put the WindowsXP CD into the CD drive
and then reboot
and tell it you'd like to try to repair the existing Windows installation (i'm assuming you have WindowsXP, but it will work with older versions as well)

NOTHING HAPPENS. YOU CAN HEAR IT HUM, BUT THATS ALL. SAYS TO PRESS F2 OR F12 DID BOTH EACH TIME TRIED DIFFERNT F'S AND STILL ZIP. I MAY HACE TO CAL THE GEEK SQUAD IN.............NOT SHOUTING JUST LIKE TO USE CAPS.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
