$1,999.95. NICE PRICE. I know several C-Net folks have considering this model. Being discontinued, buy now, on sale. March Madness YES!

Yes, I think you're right

As that's the one I've been most impressed with looking at. For a change I went to circuit city today to get some different perspectives and check out their displays. Everything looked great but I had terrible experience today with the staff there. After all was said and done, I walked out with a headache and feeling really small.

I still got my eyes on v2500. It seems to fit my needs very nicely. It looked phenomenal at both BB and CC. I am now struggling with deciding if the video processor of the Bravia xbr is worth the extra $$$.

The price of v2500 is definitely dropping. Last week I saw it locally priced for 2174 and this week 2039 at the same place.

I don't think it will be long now before I write a post here proclaiming my 1st time HDTV purchase!! YEAH!!

Thanks again...James

Sony 50" SXRD for less
by Dan Filice / March 14, 2007 11:10 AM PDT

This last Sunday, Best Buy had the 50" SXRD on sale for a $500 instant discount, which made it $1899. This is bigger than a 42 or 46" TV, but I spent a night messing with a friends 50" SXRD and it was stunning!!! IMHO, I'd go for the SXRD instead of a pure LCD.

Yeah the SXRDs are stunning....

The KDS 50A2000 was my 1st choice and I was seriously going to buy one. However, the screen size is too big for my own current setting (simply do not have the space right now)otherwise I'd would have gone with that one for myself. But, wow did it look good.

Even cheaper online...

But for $130 more, you can get the XBR2.... or pick up the V-series for $130 less.

Win-win. =)

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
