I'd try dell.com and put in your service tag to find specifics on your PC. In those pages should be re-install instructions however some folk can't follow them and will have to get the work done.

But for XP you have to wonder how many would know to install the MSUAA after the chipset driver but before the audio driver? And with the too slim and missing details I have to write that I can't tell what's up here.

Without the version I can't narrow down the possibilities. I tossed out the usual XP MSUAA issue but I guess it wasn't a big enough hint that details can help.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
