Question

I reinstalled win os on my dell 2400, but cant load drivers

This is my original PC from a few years back

i have all the original system cds

but for some reason i cannot get on the internet

seems i cannot load drives using the cd's

the computer was working okj just became sluggish all of a sudden and then i found a winsys32 error so i went to reinstall everything

can someone please help me here as im not computer savy

I'd try dell.com and put in your service tag to find specifics on your PC. In those pages should be re-install instructions however some folk can't follow them and will have to get the work done.

i actually did the Dell yesterday and it worked like a charm, but still have an issue with two drivers

Multimedia Audio and

Scan

These are the only two left in the device manager with that great yellow question mark

what the heck is scan anyhow

But for XP you have to wonder how many would know to install the MSUAA after the chipset driver but before the audio driver? And with the too slim and missing details I have to write that I can't tell what's up here.

Without the version I can't narrow down the possibilities. I tossed out the usual XP MSUAA issue but I guess it wasn't a big enough hint that details can help.
