Videos in emails

I don't know what email software you are using, but most email software applications don't play videos.

That's why I 'save' my video attachments from any emails to my hard disk, then let Windows play them from there.

Does that work with you?

Re: video's

We might be able to help if you tell the file extension of that video file. The file extension describes what file it is. For example: .mp3 is a music file, .doc a Word file, etc. There are multiple types of video file and not all programs can play all files.

Can you view other youtube files? Or none at all? If other youtube video's work correctly, something is wrong with that one. Ask the sender to put a correct copy on youtube.

Flash is a product from Adobe. To update flash go to www.adobe.com and in the download column click on "Adobe Flash Player".

This might correct your problem with Youtube. But it won't help playing the file you received in your mail. For that, the most easy way to find out is to ask the sender what program to use.

Couldn't play video or I only got the audio. Turns out I had to update my Real Player. Open the RealPlayer and look for Check for updates or something.
