Re: charging

If it's already 100%, it can't charge anymore. It starts again when it's down to 90% or less after you use for a while without power connection. But it's best for the battery if the laptop is connected as much as possible.

My HP laptop here, that's normally always connected to the mains, now says: (96%, connected, not charging) and I'm perfectly happy with it.

The problem is

In reply to: Re: charging

The problem is that the computer has no charge at all. It wont turn on again, it is not charged
I cannot turn it on

Sounds like a warranty issue.

And this may lead to why I tell folk to avoid buying a laptop without an international warranty. Anyhow at just days old you ask Lenovo where their service center is.

Answer
I have my laptop set to charge below 80%

In reply to: I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP ASAP

I have its battery life extender turned on but as you told us it's at 100% so it shouldn't charge and many laptops wait till 90% before they begin charging. That's proper and a way to extend the battery life span.
