I read "UNBROKEN" the book

I truly enjoyed or found the book so engrossing, couldn't put it down. This is one lucky guy in all the right ways of saying that. His life was truly worth a book to be written about. I guess, I'll see the movie now and how it lives up to the book.

That part about the 9 captured Marines from the Makin Raid that later were known to be executed or dead(not found). His was the 10th name. It impressed me and he put their names into memory. A movie was made of the Makin Raid(Hollywood version-'43) as "Gung-Ho" a famous older Marine wording taken from the Chinese that, meaning in harmony or together rev'ed-up for battle. Yeah, I had to say it now and then. -----Willy Happy

outcome of a mission. He was the only one on an attack on the Japanese homeland (very early in the war) who wasn't captured. The other pilots were subjected to medical experiments and other such treatment. "You could look it up." -Casey Stengel.

AHHH I should've read the book before watching the movie. The movie wasn't the best but the fact that it was a true story made everything seem more interesting. The scene where it showed the actors stuck in the sea for 46 days looked too realistic. I don't want to spoil the movie so I will stop talking now, but Angelina Jolie did a great job directing this movie. All the actors played their roles well!!
