I normally forward spam to spam@uce.gov

The last couple of days it's been bouncing. I get this message.

Could it be something about this address

"uce@pug.ftc.gov"? If I plug this site in it comes up as invalid. Further reading shows the "uce" name an old one and the spam@uce.gov to be current. I wonder if for some reason your forwarding address is got botched because it looks like the return message is showing an invalid one.

I know that that is the old address. Wonder if someone hacked their site and shipped it to the old address? China again?

Old Address to be Phased Out

The Federal Trade Commission receives about 300,000 samples of deceptive spam ? forwarded by computer users ? each day, and stores it in a database. The FTC and its law enforcement partners use the database to generate cases against people who use spam to spread false or misleading information about their products or services. To better handle the high volume of spam forwarded to the database, the FTC recently opened a new email box ? SPAM@UCE.GOV. The old email address (uce@ftc.gov) will be phased out.
