Question

I need to mount my tablet to chest.

Apr 26, 2015 4:55AM PDT

I own a dog training business and I would like to make some videos of my work. I need to be hands free in order to maintain proper technique and record video from my POV. I would like to mount a nexus 9 onto my chest with a harness or something. Can anyone recommend any products, ideas, or personal experience.

Why not the usual GoPro?

As to mounting a Nexus 9, seems like a little crafting could make this happen but an odd choice for making videos. Most folk get a camera person on the team or just put a GoPro on the helmet.

I did google "Nexus 9 chest mount" and such are made. I can't guess why anyone would buy it but it seems someone got lucky today.

tablet mount

Well i looked into gopro initially but i work with some dogs with some extreme aggression and really fearful dogs and much of my work is with rescue dogs. If im wearing something on my head or something on my chest that is not very flat and protrudes from my body where the dog thinks its unusual can prevent me from reaching the full potential of my training due to the dog being scared or distracted. In my case i chose to go with the sleek thin tablet and can stay flat and tight against my body and not interfere with my work.

Then there are such mounts today.

But POV shots while fine won't show you and your work. As these mounts were found easily with a google, you're set. To make a great video you'll want another camera for the full video.
