I need to know if my smt on amd cpu is enabled?

I have a ryzen 5 1600x i want to know if the smt or i dont know its name but it is called hyperthreading on intel i need to know if it is enabled or no? And another question please i have hyper-v support enabled and virtualization disabled is this good or should i disable the hyper-v support or enable the virtualization please help to clarify everything and thank you

The 1600x appears to be 6 cores and 8 threads.

I've never had to turn that on. I just install the latest BIOS, load BIOS defaults and I get (in this case) 8 CPUs showing in W10. That's it.

It has 12 thread not 8

The 1600x has 12 thread not 8 it has 6 cores and 12 threads and thank you my friend btw should i install the chipset driver of amd from the asus motherboard website driver or from the amd website

Never had to install the chipset driver to see all threads.

Odd information about this model. I haven't used it so I went with the AMD specs.

As to the chipset driver I didn't find that necessary to see all the threads in say Task Manager but if you install Windows, nothing has changed over the years (decades!) I update the BIOS then clean install the OS, then chipset drivers, audio, video, and so on. I disable W10's driver update. You can see why if you visit here often.

Should be in your bios.
You might want to do some testing with your apps to see which way works best for you.
Hyper-v and virtualization...use goggle and do some reading.
If you need those features turn them on if not turn them off.
