Just using my past experience on this one.
Why not cure the MSPAINT issue? That is, figure out how to get MSPAINT printing this BMP?
Start with exploring that directory with Explorer and right click, PRINT the BMP. I don't have much to work with from your post, but I'll take it that you already have MSPAINT opening said BMP.
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/1057982416 is the most common issue. Backtrack that thread to see what they did.
Sorry, but with only what you've written I can't offer much else.
I have a comp with win2000 pro, i can't print a bmp file on a report form from an specific application (SBT PRO 5.0), so i have been doing a lot of things to fix this, in fact there is a note a found that if i use a BMP file in one of the forms i want to print from SBT i need to have mspaint the default application to open and print bmp, wich i have it that way now, anyway the computer was working fine before but the user told me they started the machine one day in safe mode , then when rebooted it again in normal mode it lost the the user profile, now i am not able to print the logo on the form(the bmp) i have done everything i know and i guess there is something wrong with the win 2000 pro spk 4, so i did not want to reformat and reinstall win again, is there any way to try to apply the win 2000 pro on top to see if any file was corrupted or missing in order to see if the problem can be fixed, i never got any error messages
but i installed the application SBT on another machine running win 2000 pro and the SBT APPLICATION PRINT CORRRECTLY THE BMP FILE ON THE FORM PRINTED.
Thanks for your help in advance
