Here's my deal, I recently took over a small forensic lab that mostly deals with cell phones. The guys that worked there retired and left. So i'm starting over and rehauling everything in that office.
Problem: No Internet lan jacks, just a hot spot and wifi dongles connected to all 3 PC's for internet.

Problem 2: There's a Brand new 12 TB NAS server from Buffalo (Buffalo TeraStation 3400) never opened.
I need a solution to network the PC's together with the server. Theres no switch (other than a cheap wifi router with 4 ports on the back). I need a switch but which one, and do network cables types matter. Just need to know what I need exactly to setup the server to the PC's without sacrificing my only internet connection.

Problem 3: I use a wireless router just for the ports on the back, to network all my PC's, but I need to remove the wifi dongles in order to see the PC's network. When I connect the dongles back into the PC, the network connection between them is gone.
Basically I still need internet (hotspot) and my future Nas server together. I don't want to disable the internet just so that I can move data from the PC to the Server. Is there a way to configure it, so that I can have both my wifi hotspot and a lan networked to my new server on at all times. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

All the PC's are Windows 10 except 1 with WIndows 7. And again I have no network switch. If i need one, which one would you get.

Why not use what you have now?

Plug the NAS into this router and set it up. Sorry but I can't write a step by step for you since you must know your network and deal with it when it has issues. That is until you have a networking lead on your staff.
