General discussion

I Need something with a lot of Bang for my $270!

Jul 8, 2005 1:58PM PDT

I'm looking for my first MP3 player and there are so many ones that sound great. I have some features that i want in my MP3 player.
- 5 GB to 20 GB
- 12+ Battery
- Good sound quality
- Low maintenance
- Light to Medium weight ( ex: shuffle weight would be great, Zen Touch is the heaviest i would go )
There are also some desirable things, but not necessary
- FM Tuner and Recorder, or attachment for less than $40
- Color Screen : )
- Voice Recorder, not necessary for lectures, I like to goof off with recordings
Finally something both necessary and desirable:
LOW PRICE

Thanks for your help! : ) : )

One question, can it play video? I'm also looking at the Cowon iAudion X5 and the Archos Gmini 400, both can play video.

The Gemini thing from Archos has a color screen, great battery life, and everything you want from it. (except a couple things)
