- What camera do you have?
- Do you transfer the clip to your hard disk before trying to view it, or do you read it from a memory card you put into your PC, or do you read it directly from the camera?
- Can you find out the file extension? Go into My Computer, browse to the folder the clip is in, then Tools>Folder Options>View and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". You'll see the filename displayed as something like K19191.xyz and xyz is the file extension.
- Did the camera come with a cd with supplementary software and did you install that?
- Does the user manual say anything about viewing the clips?
I was wanting a lil movie from a bunch of video clips from my digital camera. I have an olympus camedia which gives me the option of video recording but i can't seem to find the right program to open the clips on my computer. I'm fairly new with computers i have had my computer for almost a year now. there have been a few programs that i have tried such as, windows media player, shutterfly studio( which then i realized that you can only make clips from your pictures) ive tried nero. this is actually really confusing to me. if anyone has any tips of for my lil problem it would be greatly appreciated if you posted a reply. thanks very much for your time and sorry if it is not understandable
