Resolved Question

I need help with updating firmware on my Panasonic HDC-SX5

May 25, 2014 10:55PM PDT

I recently bought a new SD memory card for my camcorder (Panasonic HDC-SX5) and upon trying to use it the screen came up with "cannot use due to inaccessible data." I took it back to the shop and the guy said I need to update the firmware of the camcorder as it is an older model camcorder and needs to be faster to use the newer SD card. So I thought to myself no problems shouldn't be to hard, I have now spent the past 3 hours trying to find this "firmware" and too be honest have no clue what I am doing. If anyone could help me or steer me in the right direction it would be unbelievably appreciated, if any more information is needed I will try my best to explain the situation.

i just checked and it is the above card type, i didn't format it in the camera would that help? its a 32 GB memory card so it should work in this cam corder. Its the newest card on the market hence why i need to upgrade my camera. Or would it be a process of formatting the card to make it accessible on the older technology that is the camera?
