Question

I need help with my modem!!!!!!!

I got a new isp and and with my new modem (i wasnt there when he installed it) and he set my network to private and put my ssid as something i dont know. So i hard lined in to my ps3 cuz i dont own a laptop or pc, just 3 tablets. But when i try to go to my network portal for settings (192.168.xxx.xxx) it just says JavaScript error on my ps3s internet browser

Ive done all the trouble shooting. Factory reseting modem(which never works for some reason) power cycle etc

The PS3 browser is very dated.

You'll have to use a PC or smart phone to try again. Since they left you without the password are you sure it's not the usual name and password that is on the modem label?

Also, you left out the make, model of the modem+router as well as your ISP.

In my view you only need to call them to fix this one.

Yeah im very sure. But I've tried everything I've tried my smartphone my tablet my iPad my fire Amazon I've even tried using the USB ports on my modem to get internet on my phone and my tablets and nothing's working

I don't have details to work with. Sorry if I was unclear. To have any hope of an answer I'd have to know at least the ISP, the modem+router make and model so I can see if such has defaults or is known to work with what you have.

I've spent the past two days with them on the phone and I've talked to seven representatives and one manager no one can help

Then cancel your subscription, return the modem, get your money back and find another ISP.
And be sure to be at home when they install it!
