I need help with my 2GB SD Card!

by BARR3RA / March 2, 2007 12:00 PM PST

I bought a 2 gig sd card at microcenter and it was working fine for a long time. I put only like 16 pics and Wii game saves. I used the WiiVideo9 program and put a Dave Chappelle episode on my SD card. I tried going to the photo channel on the Wii to view it, and it said my card was corrupted. I had to format it and lost my data which wasn't bad, but I got only half of my memory back! What do I do? I checked my card on the Wii and my card reader for PC and it displays only half of my memory.

Hi, to format into FAT or FAT32, what you must do is plug in your SD card to your PC, then go onto My Computer.
In My Computer, do a right click on the SD Card and in the menu click "Format...". Afterwards, there's a small window that's opened up, in it there's : "Capacity; File System; Allocation Unit Size; Volume Label"
Capacity- make sure you can see 2GB (or there abouts as Mem. cards never have the capacity they say they have)
File System- this is where there's FAT & FAT32 options. Try a format with applicating each one of these 2 options
Allocation Size Unit- Make sure you read : Default Allocation Size, in the option box.
Finally, the Volume Label- this is just a fancy way of saying "Name of the device"
-----------------------
Format the SD card in both FAT & FAT32, then get back to me Wink

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
