i need help with mp3 player and podcasters

Sep 22, 2009 8:07PM PDT

im not new to mp3 and players but im having trouble finding the right combo for what i want

1. a podcaster
a. that downloads all new podcast from my subscriptions (i thought that was the point but itunes did not do it right so i guess they all dont do it)
b. cloud based so it is same on all my pc/macs but downloads a copy locally for transfer to mp3 player but
c. syncing so what i delete from local is also off the cloud list but is still remembered as being downloaded before so no dupe

2. a player
a. that i can look at the albums of music seperate from the albums of podcast/books
b. that will remember where i left off on all podcast books and pick up from there
c. that will delete or mark for deletion all completely listened to podcast/books
d. that will when charging fill any empty space with new downloaded podcast books once those i listened to delete

But how big a market is there for "exactly this?" Maybe you don't own a PC is why the odd requirements?

the reason for the odd requirements are not that odd
first i listen to alot of talk radio as do alot of people and would like it seperate from my music and only listen to it once then delete it
second i do have a pc but i have to have it on all the time for podcast and tv im looking for a solution that will allow me to get rid of the pc or at least not run it 24/7 also i dont want to loose my list if the pc crashes or have to manually reenter all the podcast i plan to install a network drive perhaps something i can install on that

You'll have to wait for this. It is an odd request but not to you. The makers are PC and Apple centric for moving content.

Yes there is the SLACKER but that didn't match your specs.

Given your story, save your time and stop looking until next year.
I go to the trade shows and nothing is out there for you.

Considered using punctuation? Sorry for complaining, but that is very difficult to read effectively. : )
