I need help to buy the right player!

Hi

I am interested in buying an mp3 player.

I thought it would be best to find out 'what type of mp3 player user am I?' so i looked at the following page....

http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-7964_7-5134106-3.html?tag=tnav

I have come to the conclusion that i am a cross between the following user profiles:

Traveller
Audiophile
File hoarder

As I am going travelling next year, I will need a player that has a long battery life or user-replaceable batteries. It is unlikely that I will have a laptop with me, so I am going to need a player which will store a good amount of files (which I will load onto it before I leave) say 20-40Gb. Also I am looking for a player which is durable, with good sound quality.

I looked at the Cowon iAudio X5L which conforms to all of the above, but I am unsure about this product, as the docking jack to charge it might get lost..and then i'm stuffed. also, I am not able to browse by track/title/genre etc and it does not support an id3 tag database.

Can anyone suggest what other mp3 players will fit my needs?

Thankyou
Tencher
